Foursquare Ireland
Founded in 2000 by Thomas Hoban
Tom and Samantha pastor the Good News Christian Church located in Cork, Ireland. In June 2000 they opened the Foursquare work in Ireland, and is the first registered Foursquare church of Ireland. Their focus is on biblical and Spirit filled discipleship through establishing cell-based meetings in Cork and the surrounding areas that train and release future leaders and church planters. The Hobans have four children: Justine, Jesse, Hannah and Aoife.
Our Strategy to Reach the Nation
Ireland is well known for Saint Patrick and the phenomenal spread of ancient Celtic Christianity through its land. Unfortunately, very few can claim today they have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Our goal is to see those who claim to be religious and those who reject Christ encounter Jesus in a real, Spirit-filled way. The Foursquare pioneer church in Ireland located in the city of Cork is working to spread the Gospel.
The strategy is to plant churches in the major cities of Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Belfast and then spread throughout Ireland.
