Foursquare Russia
Russia is the largest nation in the world, and one of the most historically influential nations in modern times. To reach this nation we must find relevant, meaningful ways to communicate the gospel to a people who are often only nominally Christian. God’s great desire is to reveal His love and truth to the Russian nation!
In August 2015 the Pashchenkos, along with a team of 20 adults and 10 children, moved to St. Petersburg to plant a church in this strategic city—the 2nd largest city and cultural heart of the nation. The vision of Foursquare Russia is modeled after the 4 Stage model from the book of Acts, which includes:
- Building a solid foundation
- Nurturing this movement by developing leaders
- Expanding this movement through the planting of churches
- Sending this movement to other cultures and countries
Our strategy to reach the nation
The primary objective at this time is to create a church planting movement by planting a strategic church. In addition to planting a church, we are developing strategies for outreach and discipleship, which include:
- A full time Bible school
- A discipleship intern program for young adults
- Rehab centers throughout the region
From the central church in St. Petersburg, Foursquare Russia has a vision to plant churches in the 10 key cities of this nation over the next 10 years, including Moscow, Volgograd, Ekaterinburg, and many others
